Hi, I’m Skylar, the watercolor artist behind Brush & Bloom. I paint soft florals and the occasional whimsical forest creature, and I sell canvas prints, framed prints, and greeting cards at local markets and online. I am based in Fort Plain, NY.

Get to Know My Creative Journey

My creative journey has always been rooted in quiet moments, the kind where inspiration shows up softly and unexpectedly. Over the years, art became more than a passion. It became the way I slow down, reconnect, and express the beauty I see in everyday stillness.

Brush & Bloom grew from that intention. I’m drawn to warm neutrals, gentle florals, and textures that feel calm and lived‑in. Each piece reflects my personal growth as an artist, but also a desire to create artwork that feels grounding and meaningful in someone else’s space.

Every piece is crafted with care, simplicity, and purpose. My hope is that the warmth I feel while creating becomes the warmth you feel when the piece finds its place in your home.
